Short-toed Eagles (Circaetus gallicus), Tawny Eagles (Aquila rapax), Spotted Eagles (Aquila clanga), Laggar Falcons (Falco jugger) and kestrels are the commonest of these

Jodhpur, the heart of Rajasthan and the majestic jewel of her eternal crown, illuminates the Thar, enriching the desert with entrepreneurship, scholarship and art. The city is known as the "Sun City" for the bright, sunny weather it enjoys all year, t is also referred to as the "Blue City" due to the vivid blue-painted houses around the Mehrangarh Fort.
