Somnath or Pattan Somnath is located in the Prabhas Kshetra near Veraval in Saurashtra, on the western coast of the State of Gujarat. Somnath temple, a highly revered temple, is one of the main 12 Shiva temples in India enshrining the Jyotorlingas.
