Ambaji maa temple is a temple of the mother Goddess Amba mata. Ambaji maa temple is one of holiest and a major shakti peeth of India. It is located at a distance of approximately 65 Kms from Palanpur and 45 Kms from Mount Abu near the Gujarat and Rajasthan border.

The original seat of Ambaji mata is on gabbar hilltop. It is believed that the heart of Goddess Parvati fell here. On the Gabbar Hill the footsteps of Goddess are imprinted.
