Itinerary
Day 1 - Srinagar
Pick up from Airport and transfer to the Hotel. Sightseeing in old Kashmir - city tour (visiting to some wellknown tourist spots that include Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh)
Dinner and Overnight stay in a specially decorated room for the honeymoon couple.
Day 2 - Sringar - Gulmarg
After breakfast and proceed to full day tour of Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resort in the Kashmir valley. At the distance of 60 kms which will be covered in app. 2 hours. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest golf course with 18 holes. Enjoy the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains. One can have Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg if time permits. Overnight in Gulmarg.
Day 3 Gulmarg - Pahalgam - Srinagar
After breakfast drive to Pahalgam. En route dive though the saffron fields and through pine forest. Arrive in Pahalgam. Local vehicles (at your own cost) are vailable in case you want to visit Aru and Betaab alley which can be covered in half a day. Shop for Dry fruits and other local items and proceed back for Srinagar. Overnight in houseboat.
Enjoy a Candle light Dinner .
Day 4 - Sringar.
Free day for rest and Relaxation
Day 05: - Srinagar Sonamarg Kargil
Sonamarg - the Meadow of Gold Depart from Srinagar as per road opening timings. The drive to Sonamarg is another spectacular facet of country side in Kashmir in Sindh Valley. The Sindhu Valley is the largest tributary of the valley of Kashmir. Drive to Kargil the road passes through the panoramic village reach Sonamarg (2740 Mtrs). After Sonmarg most rough road and wet Zojila pass 3527 Mtrs (Gateway of Ladakh). Continue drive towards Drass (The second coldest inhibited place in the world) k. Another two and half hours drive will take us to Kargil (2710 Mtrs) which has got its importance after opening the Ladakh for tourists in 1974. Over Night at the Hotel in Kargil. BF/D
Day 06: Kargil to Leh 9/10 Hrs drive
Depart from Kargil after early Breakfast, en-route visiting the monastery of Mulbekh & Lamayuru & Moonlandscape passing through Namkila & Fatula Passes, Dinner and Over Night at the Hotel in Leh.
Day 07: Tour of Shey Palace, Thiksey & Hemis Monastery
After a leisurely breakfast, we drive to visit Hemis Monastery situated 45km west of Leh; Hemis is the largest and the wealthiest monastery in Ladakh. Dinner and Over Night at the Hotel
Day 08: - Leh to Nubra via Khardunla Top (18382 ft.)
Drive 120 Kms 4/5hrs Khardungla is the World's highest motor able road at 18832 feet above sea level. At Khardungla pass the snow-capped peaks and the mountain views are amazing.. Nubra Valley is the Oasis of Ladakh as you see some colourful trees in this region. Enjoy time at the Sand Dunes of Nubra valley spread across Hundur Village. Over Night at the Resort
Day 09: - Nubra Valley - Leh
After Breakfast proceed to Diskit monastery which is 515 years old situated on a hill top giving panoramic view of the valley later walk around the town of Diskit which has a small village market. Giant Buddha Statue. Proceed back to Leh cross Khardungla Pass once again and reach Leh. Over Night at the Hotel in Leh
Day 10 - Leh - Chumathang - Tsomoriri (240 kms)
In the morning leave for Chumathang stop and then to Tsomoriri. The Tsomoriri Lake is the breeding ground for numerous species of birds, like the bar headed goose, crested grebe, the Brahmini duck (ruddy Sheldrake) and the brown-headed gull. Spend the night there in the tent.
Day 11: Tsomoriri - Tsokar - Leh
In the morning visit Korzok village and visit around the lake. And in the evening return back to Leh. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh
Day 12: - Depart from Leh.
In morning depart to Leh Airport at time
