Itinerary for Tour Dalhousie Patnitop Vaishnodevi
Day 1 - Arrive in Pathankot / Chakki Bank Station or Pathankot Airport. Proceed to Dalhousie. Dalhousie is a British-era hill station located at 6000 ft above sea level.Relax for rest of the day.
Day 2- Full Day sightseeing to Khajjiar (22 kms), Chamba(50 kms from Dalhousie same route as Khajjiar).
Day 3 - Relax and perhaps visit few local sightseeing spots (Churches, Barkota Hills, Kalatop view points etc.) and shops in the evening.
Day 4 - Proceed early for Katra. Start Vaishnodevi Climb by afternoon or take a Helicopter ride and do darshan and return by night.
Day 5 and Day 6 - Proceed by noon for Patnitop (100 kms - 3.5 hours), an idyllic hill station at 5000 ft asl. Reach by evening. Visit Sanasar, Sudh Mahadev, Mantalai the next day.
Day 7 - Return to Jammu (120 kms - upto 4 hours), visit local temples (Raghunath Mandir etc.) / Take Return Flight or train.
Note : guest need to leave Dalhousie early enough to reach Katra in time for the climb or helicopter ride the same day
