Bhojpur is a small town in Raisen District of Madhya Pradesh State in India. It is located at about 25 kms from south-east of Bhopal city and is of great historical and religious importance. Bhojpur got its name from legendary founder Parmara king called Raja Bhoj. Bhojpur is popular for 7.5 ft. high shiva-lingam in Bhojeshwar temple. Betwa river passes through Bhojpur.
