Chandramauleswara Temple

Sri Candramauleswara Temple is directly across the street from the udupi Krishna Temple. Lord Shiva has the name of chandramauleswara because he carries a crescent moon (candra) on his head. The temple of Candramauleswara faces the Sri Ananthasana Temple. Both are ancient temples in holy town of udupi.
