About two lakhs will participate in the festival. The procession of Sri Jayanthinathar with Valli and Deivanai is conducted during night.

Skanda Sasti festival - 7 days (October - November)
More than 5 lakh participate in the above festival. On this festival occasion devotees fast for all six days.
On the sixth day Surasamharam is demonstrated. On the 7th day Thirukkalyanam to Deivanai is celebrated in a grand manner.
Masi festival - 12 days (February - March)
More than 3 lakhs people participate in this festival.
7th day Sikappu Sathi.

The worshippers who have taken a vow place their offerings during festival and other days. The worshippers undergo severe fast and take Kavadi, Palkudam, offer Abishekam etc. Golden Chariot procession, Chandana Labanam, Dharabhishegam, Dharahomam are performed by worshippers in fulfillment of their vows.
