About Temple
This Shiva temple is situated atop a hill, known as Mahadeshwara Hills (MM Hills), closer to Mysore. Pilgrims come here for a holy dip in Antaragange, a perennial source of water, and have darshan of the Lord. Thousands of devotees converge here on the occasion of Mahashivaratri (February-March). Regular buses are available from Mysore.
