Mini Sabarimala Temple

Mini Sabarimala Shree Ayyappa Temple is the first ancient Ayyappa Temple outside Kerala State, situated atop a hillock surrounded by hills and valleys at Kanjur Marg (W), Mumbai. A tiny stream originating from the vicinity adds the sanctity and beauty of environment. Starting from the valleys, climbing of 108 steps to offer prenames to Shree Ayyappa is the remembrance of climbing of Neelimala for Holy Shrine at Sabarimala. Mini Sabarimala Shree Ayyappa Temple, a unique one by its resemblance to the Holy Shrine of Shree Dharma Sanstha (Ayyappa) at Sabarimala, Kerala, crowning the Western Ghats. This temple attracts thousands of devotees through out the year and daily poojas, irrespective of season, are performed by the Priest Though this was an ancient temple, it was not maintained as per Thanthra Vidhi due to various reasons and as such devotees assembled and decided to form a Governing Council to be selected from the Devotees and entrusted the work of renovation of the temple by constructing new Garbhagriha and Deity with Panchaloha as per the Thanthra vidhi and tradition and maintain the purity and security of the temple
