Kapil Muni Temple located in Sagardwip, the Island of southernmost part of Bengal, and can be reached from Kolkata (Calcutta) either by road and then by a vessel, or by chartered luxury vessels starting from Namkhana & Kolkata. One has to travel to Kakdwip (by Train or Bus from Kolkata), then to Herwood Point (Lot No. 8), cross the river Muriganga by boat (ferry) and reaches Sagardwip.
